Summer Holidays are everybody’s favourite! Sunny days, picnics, water fights, BBQs, and fun trips out with the late nights staying light. One of the best parts of having a dog is that you can take them with you on your summer days out! Not only will it be fantastic for you to have fun bonding time together, but your dog will get to explore new adventures and many many new sniffs!!
Whether you visit the beach, go on nice new country walks or just go up the road to grandmas, you must remember to pack all the essentials for your four-legged friend!
On a day out, they are going to need water, food, snacks, towel, toys, lead, collar, harness, seatbelt, cooling bandana/cooling coat, cooling mat and last but certainly not least poo bags and wipes! Maybe worth having some of our Animology Fox Poo Shampoo at home ready for them, just in case it’s that kind of day out! Additionally, anything else that you think you may need, please visit www.thatpetplace.co.uk to see what we have to offer.
If you aren’t local and fancied a day out to ALCESTER then it’s definitely a day trip where your doggy can come along.
Across the town many of our shops, cafes and pubs welcome dogs inside! Of course, we have ourselves, That Pet Place where all animals are welcome, then you have just to name a few, The Cross Keys, The Dog and Partridge, The Moat House, The Throckmorton, The Mother Huff Cap, The Holly Bush, Coffee Please, Coffee @26 and more. It is a lovely town where you can stroll up and down the High Street and have a nosey in everywhere. If you fancied having a bite to eat and a drink, then your dog is not going to be a problem! If anything, they will be given lots of fuss and a few treats!
If you’ve brought your own picnic and fancied exploring the towns country walks to tire your pooch out, then your spoilt for choice there too! We have beautiful scenic routes down Bleachfield Street, the River Arrow, country field walks that can take you from one end of Alcester all the way to the Mother Huff Cap Pub, Oversley Woods and The National Trust Coughton Court.
